Meta
Art Director, Cross Meta Visual Systems
Partnering with product design teams to apply brand expression to product moments. Delivering brand guidance and collaborating closely with content design and brand strategy to ensure a coherent brand expression across our ecosystem. Developing visual identity platforms, systems and singular artifacts across, typography, palette, illustration, and iconography systems.
2023 – 2024
Square
Senior Brand Designer, Brand Systems
Embedded on the Design Systems Team within the Global Brand Studio at Square. Driving the redesign of Square’s Native app icons as well as partnering in the launch, guidance and evolution of Square’s first illustration system. Building and facilitating company-wide brand expansion initiatives. Partnering with design teams and product teams at a systems level, to build elements and style guides to be scaled across multiple touch points.
2019 – 2022
Sr. Manager Illustration & Design Systems
Driving and evolving Twitter’s illustration system across an extensive spectrum of touch points and mediums. Collaborating across Brand and Product design systems and creative teams to scale a brand refresh launched in 2020 and later evolving Twitter’s brand expression toward a Brand 2.0. From iconography through to motion design, creating guidance and tools for a wide range uses.

Showcat Inc
A multidisciplinary studio practice offering brand strategy, design direction and creative services. Top clients included Elysium Health, Philips, the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program, BBDO New York, Hearst Publishing and more.
The Daily Front Row
Art directing layouts and photography at the intersection of runway fashion, celebrity, influencer culture and beauty. Working regularly with a tight knit editorial team to meet daily social posts and publication deadlines, The Daily covered the front rows and runways of New York Fashion Week.
Unilever
Design and rapid prototyping as rotating member of the in-house pitch studio. Helping Unilever’s portfolio of global brands address large scale challenges ranging from sustainable packaging at scale and overall brand positioning to more niche explorations such as innovations in skincare. Workshop goals were to enter with ambiguity and then exit with momentum, strategy and solid pitch deliverables.

Travel+Leisure Magazine
Associate Art Director
Working with an in-house creative team to art direct multi-page features, specialty packages and reoccurring data heavy sections. Partnering with Pentagram on prototyping and redesigning entire magazine for launch in 2012. Creating both print and in-app iterations for tablet. Partnering with photo editors and multiple illustrators on a monthly basis to create award winning stories that transport and inspire.
2008 – 2010
Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology
Design & Multimedia Department
Finding localized, innovative and highly visual ways to teach the principles of semiotics, branding and communication theory to a majority Vietnamese student population. Goals were many, but focused on empowering students to think critically and creatively about their context and how it relates to potential clients both locally and globally. These same courses were also converted to professional practice methods and development for corporate offshore clients. Providing valuable relevance and context for local and expat professionals in a cross-cultural environment.

Designer
Working with an in-house creative team to design and maintain front-of-book stories from page concept to ship. Partnering with photo editors on prop styling and still life shoots.

Junior Designer
Assisting creatively in pitches and campaigns for the beauty and fashion space. Major clients included Vera Wang, Maybelline and The Public Theater. Collaborating with art directors and creative directors around photo selection, research, iconography, packaging, print production and presentations to clients.
