Twitter

Illustration & Design
Responsibilities include: Liaising between in-house brand studio and product design teams to create an illustration style that reflects Twitter’s broad culture and mission. Working within the design systems team to create a systems approach to implementation across all product surface areas. Collaborating with content strategists and curation teams to create visual assets for large impact events such as the 2020 elections as well as COVID-19 public service announcements

2013 – 2019

Freelance Design & Art Direction
A multidisciplinary studio practice offering design direction and consulting services. Clients include: fivethirtyeight.com, Elysium Health, The Fulbright Economics Teaching Program,
Unilever, The California Science Center and Philips.

2011 – 2013

Travel+Leisure Magazine

Associate Art Director
Responsibilities included: layout of features, specialty packages and reoccurring sections, photo editing, type styling, illustration and art direction, direct collaboration with design director, photo editor, and editors. Layout of ipad and tablet editions of the magazine.

2008 – 2010

Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology

Design & Multimedia Department Staff
Responsibilities included: delivery of lectures, as well the ongoing renewal and redesign of course materials relating to communication theory, semiotics, professional design practice, and creativity process. Responsible for the curriculum development and delivery of training programs for corporate offshore clients.

Travel+Leisure Magazine

Designer
Responsibilities included: layout of all front-of-book sections, photo editing, type styling, color correcting, direct collaboration with creative director, editors, illustrators, and production team from page concept to ship.

Junior Designer
Responsibilities included: assisting creatively in pitches to produce print advertising for the beauty and fashion industry, extensive photo research, designing elements for cosmetic packaging, designing identity and promotional concepts for non-profit clients.
